Washi Tape Pencil

NEED:
Pencil
Washi Tape

DIRECTIONS:
I dont know about you, but I am obessed with washi tape!! For this craft all you need to do is measure the washi tape the length of your pencil, cut and wrap around the pencil!!

NOW THAT’S CRAFTY!

Vicks Pucks

NEED:
1 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup corn starch
1/2 cup water
3 tsp Vapo Rub
Cupcake pan
Paper cupcake liners

DIRECTIONS:
Heat water enough to melt the vapo rub. Add baking soda, cornstarch to make a thick paste

Line a cupcake tin with paper liners and fill each half way with the mixture

Let dry for 24 hours, remove from papercups and store in air tight container. Whenever you have a stuffy nose put one of these in the shower with you and let the hot water create a vapo shower!

DIY Foot Lotion

NEED:

Glass jar with tight fighting lid

1/2 cup pure petroleum jelly

15 drops of peppermint oil

DIRECTIONS:

Put 1/2 cup pure petroleumjelly in glass jar and microwave at 30 second intervals until the petroleum jelly liquifies. Mix in 15 drops of peppermint oil. Leave jar uncovered until it solidifies and then put lid on tightly.

Each night before you go to bed, rub some of this all over your feet and then put on a pair of cotton socks. When you wake up in the morning you will have soft feet!!

NEED:
Button with 4 holes
Embrodery thread

DIRECTIONS:

Find a fun button with four holes.¬† Cut two pieces of embrodery thread about 12 inches long.¬† Take one of¬†the pieces of the embrodery floss and thread it through two of the¬†holes and then loop the ends through.¬† Do the¬†same thing with the other piece of thread and the other two¬†button holes.¬† Tie ends together for the braclete.¬

Jar (or container with lid)
Craft Paper; Letters; Yarn, Fabric
Glue
Note pad and pen
Scissors

DIRECTIONS:
Take you jar and decorate it with craft paper, letters, fabric, yarn Рwhatever you like.  Label it your Joy Jar.  When something good happens to you during the year write it down on a piece of paper with the date. At the end of the year (or whenever) take out the slips of paper and read all the good things that happened to you this year!!

Crafty Bath Bombs

NEED:

  • 1/2 cup coco butter
  • 3/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/6 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 cup citric acid (look for this in the canning section of the grocery store)
  • Wax paper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Melt 1/2 cup of coco butter in a microwave safe bowl for approximately 30 seconds
  2. Mix in the baking soda, corn startch and citric acid.
  3. Stir until all is desolved.
  4. Spoon drop approximately 1 inch balls on wax paper.
  5. Let dry at least 24 hours until they harden.
  6. Drop 1 or 2 in your next bath for soft skin!

Crafty Ornaments

NEED:

  • Clear plastic or glass ornaments
  • Craft paint
  • paper plate
  • Ribbon or yarn

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Take top off the ornament
  2. Drip craft paint inside swril around to make a pattern.
  3. I used red and glitter paint.
    Turn ornament upside down on a paper plate and let extra paint run out.
  4. Once the ornament has dried place top back on the ornament. Tie a piece of yarn or ribbon and hang on the tree!

Crafty Sock Wreath

NEED:

  • Foam Wreath
  • Socks
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Ribbon/Yarn

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut foam wreath open.
  2. Cut the toes off the socks. (I used 4 knee high socks)
  3. Feed the socks onto the wreath.
  4. Once socks are on the wreath, Use a dab of hot glue to seal the wreath back up and arrange the socks evenly over the wreath.
  5. Tie a piece of ribbon to hang your wreath!

Crafty Christmas Tray

NEED:

  • Cookie Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Hard Peppermint Candies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place a sheet of parchment paper on the cookie sheet.
  2. Unwrap the candies and arrange them in a circle or square pattern with some room between each piece.
  3. Bake at 350 degress for 8-10 min.

  4. Once you remove the cookie sheet from the oven, let the tray completely cool on the cookie sheet.

Water Bottle Sweater Sleeve Cover

NEED:

  • Sweater Sleeve
  • Felt
  • Scizzors
  • Needle, thread and pins

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Start with a sweater that has all ready been felted (washed in hot water and dryed in the dryer). Use a water bottle to measure how long you would like the coozie to be and cut.
  2. Cut a circle out of felt to be the bottom of the coozie.
  3. Turn the sweater sleeve inside out and pin the piece of felt to the bottom. Either hand stich the felt circle or attach by using a sewing machine.
  4. Turn it right side out!!
